The NMAF is a 501(c)(3) public charity and was created to provide additional support of NMA\u2019s stewardship programs. The NMAF and NMA are partnered to maximize donor funding towards NMA\u2019s trail stewardship programs. Donations made to NMAF are tax-deductible and used solely to run NMAF and support NMA\u2019s trail stewardship programs. Did you know that many employers will match some of an employee\u2019s donation to the NMAF? Check with your employer\u2019s HR department to MAXIMIZE your contributions to NMA\u2019s stewardship programs via the NMAF.<\/p>\n

      $50 \u2013 Buys one pulaski<\/p>\n

      $100 \u2013 Buys diesel to run a trail machine for about 4 days<\/p>\n

      $200 \u2013 Sends one person to Olympia to meet with legislators on ORV issues for a day<\/p>\n

      $250 \u2013 Lunch for 15 person work party<\/p>\n

      $500 \u2013 Fuel and food for one week of HMC operator deployment (camping onsite)<\/p>\n

      $800 \u2013 Buys one professional quality brush cutter or chainsaw<\/p>\n

      $20,000 \u2013 Buys one enclosed cargo trailer outfitted with 3-4 brush cutters, 2-3 chainsaws, 3-4 Trail Boss backpack kits, and appropriate PPE<\/p>\n

      The NMA Foundation is organized exclusively for\u00a0<\/span>charitable, scientific, literary and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, including but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n

      1. NMAF will educate the public and public land agencies on the sustainable use of off-road motorcycles, sustainable trail design and construction practices, trail maintenance practices, and how to collaborate with public land agencies to attain mutually beneficial goals.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. NMAF will work to preserve the environment, particularly in mountainous and\/or forested terrain by using trail construction practices that are environmentally sustainable.\u00a0 We provide training necessary for certification of trail equipment and power tool operators.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            \n
          1. NMAF will coordinate with public land agencies to identify needed trail work and provide equipment and personnel to ensure the trail receives the improvements needed to be environmentally sustainable, thereby lessening the burden of government.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. NMAF will educate the off-road motorcycling community about government activities and policies that may have an impact on off-road motorcycling.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              1. To aid, support, and assist by gifts, contributions or otherwise, other corporations, community chests, funds and foundations organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, or educational purposes, no part of the net earnings of which inures to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual, and no substantial part of the activities of which is carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

To do any and all lawful activities which may be necessary, useful or desirable for the furtherance, accomplishment, fostering or attainment of the foregoing purposes, either directly or indirectly and either alone or in conjunction or cooperation with others, whether such others be persons or organizations of any kind or nature, such as corporations, firms, associations, trusts, institutions, foundations, or governmental bureaus, departments, or agencies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
